A Legacy of Beauty & Care
- Over 50 years ago, a young and vibrant Janine followed her husband from Quebec to Ontario. With 2 young daughters in tow, and very little English, Janine was determined to build a career for herself, and decided to follow her dream; Little did she know what a family she would create. Janine’s passion for fashion and beauty led her to start up a small one room aesthetic area in a hair dressing salon. Janine was creating a buzz around town performing facials, waxing, makeup and manicures.
- On October 15th 1971, the one woman show opened the doors to Janine Beauty Institute in a 450 square foot space where her daughter Michelle joined her, and followed in her mother’s footsteps. At the time when few women owned their own business, Janine’s European style and flare became an overnight sensation. Janine Beauty Care very quickly turned into a 3000 square foot space with a staff of 15 performing manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials, electrolysis, massages and more. Janine’s overwhelming success continued over the years, and it’s all due to our excellent staff, who are dedicated to customer service and professionalism. So much so that we have been named Brampton’s Reader’s Choice Award for best Manicure/Pedicure/Spa for consecutive years since 1994. Fast forward to the present time – Janine has since retired at a young age of 83, and has left the business in the loving hands of her daughters, Michelle and Andrée.
- In 2015, we relocated and made some major changes to the ambiance, and with a growing clientele and new services added, Janine Beauty Care still runs as it did from day one. With the passion and love inspired by our matriarch, Janine’s vision, Janine Beauty Care has remained a professional, clean, customer service oriented, inviting place where you can come and rejuvenate your Body, Mind and Soul.

For over 43 years, Michelle has followed in her mother Janine's footsteps in providing prestigious services at Janine Beauty Care. Michelle specializes in Facials, Peels, Micro Dermabrasion, Vasculyse, and many more. Michelle continues to educate herself and staff on new products and treatments, to provide unbelievable services to all Janine Beauty Care clients.
Andrée
Registered Psychotherapist/Owner
5 years ago with a turn of fates, Andrée joined in co-ownership with her sister Michelle at Janine Beauty Care. Andrée took a “Leap of Faith” bringing her authentic nature to our team. If she is not helping run the spa, she can be found healing the soul as a registered Psychotherapist.

Esthetician
With over 25 years of excellence service at Janine Beauty Care, Carrie is one of our senior team members. Carrie specializes in Facials, Peels, Micro Dermabrasion, Waxing and many other services. Carrie has continued her education through the years, keeping up to date with current trends and new treatments to provide exceptional services with a never aging smile.
Grace
Registered Psychotherapist/Owner
25 years and counting, Grace has provided sensational services at Janine Beauty Care. As a senior esthetician Grace specializes in Facials, Peels, Micro Dermabrasion, Waxing and many other services. With continued training, Grace keeps up to date on new products and treatments to provide superior services that will have you glowing.
Amanda
Esthetician
Amanda may look young, but she has been providing extraordinary services at Janine Beauty Care for over 12 years. Amanda specializes in Facials, Body Massages, Body Scrubs, Make- Up, and more. Amanda’s thirst for knowledge and excellence keeps her sharp and on top of new techniques and treatments to have you coming back for more.
Lucie
Esthetician
Over 30 years ago Lucie started her career as an esthetician at Janine Beauty Care. After some time, Lucie left to pursue a career elsewhere but like they say, “there is no place like home” and has returned to her passion. Lucie specializes in Ear Candling, Facials, Manicures, Pedicures, Waxing and more. Lucie provides phenomenal services with a blend of old school techniques and new age technologies.
